You're A Conduit for Creation

Have you ever noticed that the best ideas usually show up when you're not chasing them?

You're taking a shower . . . driving down the road . . . drifting off to sleep . . . and suddenly, “poof,” there it is.

That's because whatever you create in life comes through you, not to you.

Most of us spend our lives waiting for something to come to us—health, wealth, happiness, success. And sure, if you win the lottery, money does come to you. But that's not exactly a dependable life strategy.

Creation works differently.

It shows up when your mind gets quiet.

A noisy mind is constantly trying to force the next step. A quiet mind simply makes room for it.

I think your greatest gift isn't what you create. It's your ability to be an avenue for creation.

So instead of trying so hard, do this:

Set an intention . . . quiet your mind . . . then get the hell out of the way.

Stop telling creativity how to do its job.

The less you interfere, the more easily ideas flow through you.

And that's truly what you are – a conduit.

A passageway.

All the best,

John
