Rob was just minding his own business cleaning a toilet when...
Hi, I'm Rob Tale number forty eight. The secret. I was in a bathroom stall cleaning a toilet. This was at a golf course where I worked. In this bathroom, there was a main area with sinks and a mirror, and then two bathroom stalls. The stall doors weren't like normal bathroom stalls, they were just regular doors, so there was no opening at the bottom. Each stall was a tiny, fully enclosed room. So there I was in one of these stalls, with the door locked, cleaning the toilet, when two people burst into the main part of the bathroom. They were whispering, but they were whispering really loudly. They thought they were alone, but I could hear them. And one of them said, Dude, you better not tell anyone. And then the other person said, I won't, I promise. And then the other guy said, Dude, I'll give you a thousand dollars right now if you promise never to tell anyone. And the other guy said, Dude, you don't have to worry, I'm not going to tell anyone. And then the other guy said, If you tell anyone, I'll tell everyone what happened in Savannah at Tom's wedding. And there was a slight pause, like the other guy was shocked by what he was hearing. And then he said, I'm not going to tell anyone, but I really don't appreciate being threatened with that. And the other guy's like, I don't mean to threaten you. You just have to promise never ever to tell anyone. And the guy was like, Dude, I'm not going to tell anyone. And then they were really quiet. I think they were signaling to each other. Then they walked towards the stall I was in. One of them said, Is anybody in there? I didn't say anything. And then one of them knocked and said, Is anybody in there? I still didn't say anything. And then one of them tried to open the door, and it was locked, so they knocked again, this time a lot harder. And they said, Who's in there? And I held my breath and sat there perfectly silent. One of them said, Let's get out of here. And they left the microphone. Our theme music is by Mitchell Hardidge.
