We got a lot to get into. There's a lot to cover. We've got our week and what we've been up to. We've got the news. You know, we had a, you know, a black artist that passed away this week. So we're going to jump into that and a couple of other things. We also have fan mail. We got some responses from last week. So we're going to jump into fan mail because there were some questions to Mr. Robinson that got answered in fan mail this week. You know, Dwayne's going to walk us through sports. We've had a few upsets on Saturday, college football Saturdays. Not a lot. So we're going to jump into that and um you know see what's going on there. But I want to start the show off today with a question of the day. Last week, when we did question of the day, man, we had it was it was it was thought-provoking. You know what I mean? Um, it was pretty deep. And I like when we do things like that, but I'm also gonna do some when we have lighthearted, and sometimes you hear Dwayne come up with a question of the day, Darrell, who originated it, he'll come up with some. But I'm gonna bring it back to me this week again for a question of the day. So this is for us. Fan Mail: Mental Health And Marcus Speaks

And they got grilled chicken tenders too, so you know, I ain't gonna eat fried every day. You know, but all right, we are going to go ahead and jump into fan mail. I know that we had some responses to last week, but first off, let's jump into what we had here from Leah. She said that this was a phenomenal episode, a little deep. I love how you each had a unique perspective on your mental space. I think you all three can and should start an annual short Death Men's expo. The community needs that was in reference to episode 228 where we were showcasing Leah's Black Girls Day Off. And we talked a little bit about having a black boys' day off. Leah, you you were such a success with the black girls' day off. Maybe you should do the black boys' day off. With the shortcut.

Now we got some follow-up for Mr. Robison. I don't know if y'all remember, but last week when we talked on the episode, we had fan mail from Jacksonville. And one of the things that the young lady from Jacksonville stated was that um for Mr. Robinson, would he uh after he had his heart broken, is he still pro-Spanish women? Does he not like black women? That's what she said. And so Mr. Robinson had to come back this week to give a little response to that and also add a few more things to it. He started off with God bless the short desk podcast. He said, Ron, you late on the secrets hideaway. That place is amazing. Swimming pools, dance club, cheap drinks is nice. Have an adventure and go into a secret room. I'll pass on that. I'll pass on that, Mr. Robison.

Ah, hard, man. I've been working tirelessly. I logged um 123 hours in the past two weeks. Yeah. That's why I skipped out on the outing yesterday.

I did that Monday, and then I went to stores on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and then Friday they called me like, can you work Saturday? I'm like, bro, I got I got six hours left. Because we can only work, I'm about to say only, it sounds terrible, but we can only work 70 hours a week. You can only work 70 hours in six days. No, no, eight days, right? So on Friday, I'm down to seven, and he's called they're asking me if I want to work Saturday. I've already worked five days, like I said, 63 hours, seven, seven hours left. I'm like, nah, I can't work tomorrow. There's nothing you have that I can do in seven hours. So no. Yeah, it's been a rough week. But we're we're we do things in cycles, so right now we're delivering Christmas stuff. So it's it's taking a lot of time to do that.

What about Thanksgiving? They skipped over Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving's a small.

It's small. Christmas is is is huge, so it takes us a couple weeks to do that. So right now we're swamp, but I get paid by the hour, so yeah. I guess that's the good part about it.

I don't see Durell, I don't do that every week. Like last two weeks, yeah, I've been up in the 60s. My normal, my normal amount is right 50, 52, and I'm good. And I usually do that in four days. But the last couple weeks, I've been I've been doing it five days, and but it's gonna go back down.

Matter of fact, I got a co-worker who when dude is done working, he be sticking around. But because he's going through a divorce, my man don't want to go home at all.

So we got we got the NDL, the National Dodgeball League. Okay. Two ways to play. Try out the professional league to compete at the highest level and participate. And they have amateur events as well. So Okay, so this was this was this was the pros, whatever that is. The league was founded in 2004.

Second time she had it, they actually gave her bone, she did a bone marrow transplant, and it didn't come back. Like she she that was the thing that they needed to do. The first time they did, I think they did chemo, and then the second time it's like, oh, we need to give you a bone marrow transplant. Gave her bone marrow transplant, she's fine now.
