As stated by the World Bank, in 2011, world cities generated about 1.3 billion tons of solid waste. This volume is expected to increase to 2.2 billion tones by 2025. Bin-e is a smart-bin, IOT device which sorts and compresses recyclables automatically. To do this, it combines unique AI-based object recognition, fill level control and data processing to make waste management convenient and efficient.
