Starting Out
Have you ever been interested in putting yourself out there and trying something creative? Starting Out is an interview show that explores people's honest, raw accounts of starting something. Hosted by stand-up comedian Nick Durie, who himself started stand-up at the ripe age of 37, Starting Out features conversations mostly with stand-up comedians, with the occasional musician, writer, producer and others dropping by, and looking back on when they decided to try out something new, exciting, and scary.

Episode 102
My guest this week on Starting Out - which is sponsored by the pandemic "COVID" - is Hamitlon-based comedian, and video game creator, Bret Measor. Bret started standup a little after I did, and we used to have many deep conversations like the one you’re about to hear. Bret has gone through some loss in the last year, and we talk about death and grief in the second half of this episode. Thanks for listening and supporting the pod, and don’t get COVID.
