Have you ever been interested in putting yourself out there and trying something creative? Starting Out is an interview show that explores people's honest, raw accounts of starting something. Hosted by stand-up comedian Nick Durie, who himself started stand-up at the ripe age of 37, Starting Out features conversations mostly with stand-up comedians, with the occasional musician, writer, producer and others dropping by, and looking back on when they decided to try out something new, exciting, and scary.

Such an awesome moment in time for my guest this week on Starting Out - they are set to release their debut album “Inflammable Material”, it’s Bonez Poley! Bonez had so many creative endeavors that got dashed at an early age, and it was great to hear how they pressed through and did whatever they wanted first in the punk scene, and then in comedy.
