15 Minutes With Jesus / Robert Haymes
I Love You Lord
Greetings in the name of Jesus! This is Rob Haymes. This program is called 15 Minutes With Jesus. Today we’re going to worship God in Spirit and in truth.
Father, in Jesus’ name, we come to you. We thank you for this beautiful morning. We come to you on this Saturday morning, loving you, worshipping you, in Spirit and in truth, and the only reason we can do that, Father, is because you loved us and sent your Son to be the satisfying agent, the propitiation, the atonement for our sins, who knew no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth. There’s no deceit in Him, no violence, no sin. He was tempted in every way as we are Father, yet He never sinned. Thank you Jesus, you loved us, and you washed us from our sins on the Cross in your own Blood. You suffered for our sins, not for your sins; you did not sin, but you were able to offer your own body as a living sacrifice for our sins. Thank you Lamb of God. We thank you, and we come to you this morning Lord to worship you; to worship you Father, because you are worthy of all praise and honor and Glory, thank you Father.
Song: I love You Lord
I love you Lord
And I lift my voice
To worship you
Oh my soul, rejoice
Take joy, my King
In what you hear
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound
In your ear.
We just worship you Lord. We worship you Lord. We thank you Lord, that you told that woman at the well, God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him, must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. And you said, The Father seeks such to worship Him. Thank you Father; you are seeking us to worship you, in Spirit and in truth! Thank you Lord, and your Word says that you inhabit our praises, when we do that, when we worship you , in Spirit and in truth, when we love you back, when we give back the love that you’ve given us. We love you because you first loved us. Praise God! We just worship you right now Father in the name of Jesus. We magnify your Holy Name; we bless your Holy Name; we give you thanks. Thank you Father for the ministry of your Holy Spirit to build up your precious Body; the Body of Christ. Hallelujah! Praise God! Praise God! We can do nothing of our own selves. Praise God! We thank you Lord. We just bless your Holy Name, Lord. We bless your Holy Name. Thank you Lord Jesus! Thank you Lord! Let your name be exalted. Praise God, Amen! Praise God, Amen! Thank you Lord! Praise God, Amen! Thank you Father! Thank you Father! Thank you, in Jesus’ name; I just thank you Father, in Jesus’ name. Those of you that are listening, right now, I pray that you would seek to enter in to the Spirit. Just reach out your heart to God. Lift up your hands to Him. Worship Him right now because the Holy Spirit is here; the Holy Spirit is upon us. We have entered into His presence by worshipping Him in Spirit and in truth. He is inhabiting our praises. So just join with us, right now, for a few moments, to just lift up your heart to Him and worship Him, in whatever words come to you; in your own words, give Him thanks, worship Him, right now. Just join with us. The Holy Ghost is upon us. Hallelujah! Thank you Lord! Thank you Lord! Your Word says in 1 John, Truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord! Thank you Lord!
A prayer in tongues
Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord. That was a prayer given to me by the Holy Spirit. I don’t know what I was praying, but your Word says, Father, that we don’t even know what to pray for as we ought, so the Holy Spirit intercedes for us, through us; praying through us in another language which we don’t understand, but it’s very precious; very important!; those Holy Ghost prayers! We thank you for them Father. Thank you Lord! Praise God! The Bible says that Jesus is our Great High Priest. He was born of the Virgin Mary; He was born Holy. The angel Gabriel came to Mary and He told her what was going to happen, and she said, How can this be, seeing I don’t know a man? And the angel Gabriel answered her, and he said, the Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you, therefore that Holy thing which shall be born of you shall be called the Son of God. He was born of a virgin. He was born Holy, but He became a man; He had flesh like our’s; He was the Son of the Living God. He was God. He’s still the Word of God, as in John 1, it says the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. So He was a man, and He was tempted as we are, in every way, yet He never yielded, He never sinned, not even with His thoughts, or His Words, or any deeds; He never sinned, and He was tried, and tempted, and tested for 33 years; He gave Himself on the Cross a living, perfect sacrifice for all the sins of the human race; He bore in His Body all our sins. He died on the Cross for our sins; He was crucified. On the third day the Father raised Him from the dead and justified Him from all sin; justified us from all sin; and He appeared to over 500 brethren after He rose from the dead. Then He ascended into Heaven, where He is seated, right now, at the right hand of the Father. Jesus Christ is alive! He’s our Great High Priest, and He’s making intercession for us. And I personally believe that when you pray in the Spirit, not just running your mouth in tongues, but when you enter into the Spirit, and you worship God, and you pray in another language; the Bible says other tongues can be tongues of angels or tongues of men; the gifts of the Holy Spirit are given as God wills; so whatever God wills, and you enter into the Spirit and you pray in another language, it may well be our Great High Priest, interceding for you, by the Spirit, through you. But you have to yield to God, if you want these things; these wonderful, good things of God; you must yield to Him. And that’s what people don’t want to do; a lot of people don’t want to yield their tongue to God.
In the Book of James, he spoke of the tongue: no man can tame. He talked about how a ship is guided about by a very small rudder, and he said, so is the tongue; it guides our whole life. Jesus said, It’s not what goes in the mouth that defiles the man, but it’s what comes out of the mouth that defiles the man. What comes out of the mouth, comes from our hearts. And in Jeremiah it says, the heart is desperately wicked, deceitful above all things. So our hearts have to be purified, cleansed, by the washing of the water of the Word. And then, those unclean words, those unclean thoughts, those wicked deeds will be cleansed. Jesus said, If you continue in my Word, you will be my disciples indeed. You’ll be a real Christian. He said, Come to Me! Take my yoke upon you; learn of Me! And how do you learn of Him? By continuing in His Word, and He said, You’ll know the truth and the truth will make you free. And so that’s the process; you go on with the Lord; you go on to know the Lord. In 1 John 5:20 it says, And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
Father, in Jesus’ name, we just thank you for every person taking part in this program. Jesus said, wherever two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst. So we just thank you! We are gathered together in your name, and you are in the midst. That’s why we call it 15 Minutes with Jesus. We are not talking about 15 minutes with us. We’re talking about you, you who are listening, and us, entering into His presence, and being with Him, through the Holy Spirit. That’s one of the most wonderful reasons to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, I’m going to the Father; He told His disciples when He was on the Earth, He said, I’m going back to the Father, but I’m not going to leave you alone! I’m going to send the Comforter! When I go I’m going to send the Holy Spirit, that He may be with you forever. So you don’t have to be alone as a Christian. You can literally experience the presence of Jesus; the presence of God the Father; the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life, and be comforted, be exhorted; sometimes we need to be rebuked; sometimes we need to be chastised by God, because we’re headed in the wrong direction. So, Jesus said , in Revelation, those that I love I rebuke and chasten, be zealous therefore and repent! So He loves us as a loving Father. He loves us and He will correct us. It’s not to destroy us. It’s not to condemn us. It’s because He loves us. So we just thank you Father, in Jesus’ name, for every person listening, and we ask you to bless them, in Jesus’ name, and we thank you Father, Amen!
