The Children of Israel had a promise from God of a land flowing with milk and honey. Yet they were willing to settle for going back to onions and taskmasters. They were freed from slavery, but still bound in the hearts. They tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel in their lives, when they didn’t remember His power!
