SPEAKER_02:

Hello and welcome to Let's Talk About It podcast. I am your host, Apostle Rosemary, with my wonderful husband, Apostle Herbie of RCN Ministries. We would like to thank you and welcome you to season five of our podcast. This season, we're going to deal with living strategically in God in a divided world. And our theme scripture comes from Ephesians chapter five, verses 15 through 16. And it tells us to be careful then how you live, not as unwise, but as wise, making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil. So this instructs us to be wise, to use wisdom, to be mindful that we are truly living what we preach. So on today, we're starting out with our first episode of season five, and it talks to us about the topic of the subject is unshaken. That's a powerful, powerful phrase. The phrase on today and the theme for today is unshaken, how to stand strong in a shaky world. So welcome to season five of our podcast. This season is all about standing strong when the world around us is anything but steady. We're calling it unshaken because God is calling his people to rise, to root deeper and to live with bold faith. steady families, and sharp focus. Whether you're leading a home, rebuilding your faith, or trying to hold on to your purpose in uncertain times, this season, men and women of God, is for you. Get ready for honest conversation, biblical truths, and practical steps to help you live unshaken. So let's grow deeper together in the things of God. So we are planted, not panicked. When we're talking about this in this first episode of season five, we're talking about how to remain planted in our faith instead of living in a constant state of panic. Remember, planted, we are planted in God. We are grounded. We are rooted in God. We are not panicked because the Lord has not given us the spirit of fear. So when chaos hits, it's easy to react emotionally, but God calls us to stand firm, rooted like a tree by the water. So this conversation that Apostle Herbie and I are going to have today on Let's Talk About It podcast will help you to shift from your survival mode into your spiritual stability mode. This is going to help each and every one of you realize that God has placed everything in you that you need to overcome in this season and the seasons that lie ahead of us. The Lord has us grounded and rooted and planted like the tree planted. besides the living water. God has us grounded, rooted, and planted like the palm tree. If a category five hits, the palm tree may bend, but it will not break. So people of God, be encouraged and know we are unshaken because why? We are the remnant. And one thing about us, we are victorious. We are not victims. We are overcomers. We are not beaten. We're not downtrodden. But God has raised us up for such a time like this. So our key scripture on today will come from Psalms 1 and 3, is the first one, that they are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. In Jeremiah 17, verses 7 through 8, it tells us, that they will be like a tree plant planted by the water that does not wither when the heat comes so in other words when a storm comes when the storm of life comes when everyone and everything around you is shaken you will be steadfast you will be unmovable but you will always be abounding in the works of the lord So what is it that you'll learn from this? What is it that Apostle Herbie and I want to deposit into you spiritually today to help you be able to rise up like the three Hebrew boys? They were in the fire by King Nebuchadnezzar because they would not bow. They would not bow to the political sphere. They would not bow to the occult. They would not bow to things that are going on all around the world and people are calling it Christianity or they're calling it God. But we are here today as the remnant to tell each and every last one of you, stand still and watch God. So what we want you to learn today is this, why panic is often a sign of misplaced trust. In the world, but not in the people of God. Because guess what? We are living in Hebrews 11 and 1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things unseen or not seen. So what does that mean? That means even though I can't see it yet, I know it's already happened. I have to learn to trust God when I can't trace God. And that is where we are, people of God. We may not be able to put our hands on exactly everything that's manifesting in the realm of the spirit, because believe me when we tell you this, that when you see the world that's in such discord, disarray, lawlessness, chaos, believe me, the natural does not supersede what God is doing in the realm of the spirit. Therefore, God is moving mightily in this hour. God is moving mightily for his people, the realm God is moving mightily for those like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego that did not bow, that did not bow to idols, that did not turn over their beliefs and their faith in who God was. It is. It is to come. But they stood firm and they stood firm. Flatfoot. They stood. In other words, the new saying is they stood 10 toes down with their honey. They spoke with their full chest and they stood on business. So it's time for the remnant to stand on business. And you know what? Just realize today you have to choose you and I. Whom shall we serve? Whom shall we serve? We cannot serve two gods. We cannot have two gods. The word of God tells us in the Ten Commandments that thou shall have no other God besides me. Guess what? We've got to choose ye today. Whom shall we serve? If we're going to serve the world and we're going to serve idols, we need to go ahead and sit down. Don't straddle the fence. The word of God says either hot or cold. Because if you're lukewarm, I'm going to spew you out. So how do we stay rooted in a world when the world feels unstable? And what are the habits to help you grow deeper instead of wider? We think about the practical applications and takeaways that we must create a spirit root check. We must realize, okay, am I rooted? Do I have enough word in me to sustain in today's society and everything that I'm going through? Because I am unshaken. God has given me the ability to be unshaken, no matter what is breaking loose, no matter the hell that's going on all around us, in the natural political sphere, and in those that are professing that they're Christian in those spheres, whatever it may be. Am I unshaken? And God wants us to be unshaken and standing on his word. It's not so much. I was just telling a man and woman of God, my husband and I, we were fellowshipping with them, had an awesome time. And we were telling these beautiful people of God that, you know, we've got to get to the place that we understand. We've got to get to the place where we know who God is, that we're unshaken, we're unmovable. We're going after God with all that we know. We were talking about so many different things that it was just a kingdom conversation and it was kingdom fellowship. And, you know, we were all in one place with the same mind on one accord. And we were talking about kingdom works. This is what God is calling for a unified church. God is calling for us because the word of God says we're many members, but we're one body. So it's going to take unity. It's going to take love. It's going to take us working together to accomplish the wills of the kingdom. But we have to understand something or the will of the kingdom. We have to understand something, people of God. It's not enough as we were saying earlier with them. That it's not enough to read the word, to meditate, to study the word, to teach the word, to preach the word. The application is the key. We need to and we must apply it to our everyday lives. My Lord. So the practical takeaway and application here. Create the spiritual root check, men and women of God. Take out a list and make a list for the week. The week. What is it? that I want from God? What is it that I'm asking God for? What do I need God to do for me? How do I need God to purify my heart? What is it that I want to stay focused on? And I don't want to get distracted in this world because I am unshaken. My God, this series is going to be off the chain for season five. So we need to learn to form and build a habit of turning to prayer before panic. My God, there's a saying, If you're going to pray and panic, pray and worry, then you may as well not pray. Yeah, worry and panic. So if we're going to pray, we cannot panic. We've got to trust God even when we can't trace God. We have to learn in the application and the practical takeaways from today's podcast. We have to and we must set healthy boundaries. That protect our peace, that protect our presence, protects our hearts, our minds, our spirits, because we have to have pure hearts, people of God. We have to be able to understand that even though I love them, I have to leave them. Think about Abraham and Lot and others in the Bible where God severed relationships, where God took people and he separated them for purpose. So we need to understand and identify in this season. This is not the time to wonder and be tossed to and fro, but this is the time to have our minds and our hearts. We have to have our gaze fixed on Jesus. We cannot veer to the left nor to the right, but we have to stay on the road called straight. This is not the hour to play with the people of God. We must be serious And this is the hour and the season that we must be mature Christians in this hour. My husband and I, we know that God has called us to senior leaders, leaders, and emerging leaders. We love all people. God has called us to all people. But we know that our mandate is to equip the nations. My God. And you know what? We have made up our mind many years ago. No matter what, we are not going to get distracted by an outcry in the crowd that God did not call us to. We have to stay focused on the things of God. I'm going to turn this over to Apostle Herbie in just a minute. Remember that we are planted, not panicked. That's not who we are. We are focused on on the things of God. We are going forth on the things of God. We are realizing that we are unshaken in how we are going to stand strong in a shaky world. Excuse me, y'all. Allergies. So in the call to action here, before I turn this part over to Apostle Herbie, we need to be able to share this episode and tell them that we're Apostle Herbie and Apostle Rosemary of RCN Ministries and their podcast is Let's Talk About It. We're not finished yet. I'm just pausing here to just encourage some of you that know this message will be a blessing to others. Share this podcast. Be able to tell a friend who may have been feeling overwhelmed or anxious, who may have been going through depression or oppression, who may have felt like giving up, who may have felt like, you know what? It's just time for me to just sit down. I don't even want anything to do with church. I'm just so tired. I'm tired of going through the motions. I'm tired of the rigmarole. I'm tired of the status quo. I just want the presence of God and I want the miracle signs and wonders. Send this podcast and bless them. Share this with them. You can always DM us and talk to us about some anchor verse. What keeps you grounded? Send us an anchor verse. What keeps you grounded? You can go on our podcast. Let's talk about it. You can DM us. Send us an email. Everything's there. You can click the link and send it to us right from our podcast. And you can begin to say to yourself, what has kept me grounded when life feels shaky? Because I'm looking forward to hearing what all God is saying through his vessels, his servants. Apostle Herbie and Apostle Rosemary of Let's Talk About It podcast from their ministry, RCN Ministries. Because this is season five of our episodes that are going to be dealing with all this whole season five. We're going to concentrate on unshaken because our podcast is built on faith, family and focus. And today's first episode is we are planted, not panicked. We need to understand that that's why we remain unshaken. When the storm comes, we know how to stand strong in a shaky world that is so divided. Michael, that's good. Wasn't that good? Okay. So when we're living rooted in faith, when the world feels unstable, men and women of God, We are yet again planted, not panicked, because we are unshaken. We just want to say to you all that in the state that the world is in today, we have to understand that everything that's happening has a lot of people dealing with mental health issues. They're panicking. They're reacting. God is calling for the church to rise up. God is calling for the church to set the tone. He's calling us to choose faith over fear, to go to the depths over distraction, to the depths of the things of God. In the state of the world on today, we need to understand that everything that's happening culturally, politically, and personally Um, so many people are, they've gotten so engulfed in the news cycles and family pressure and personal setbacks. But the thing is, sometimes we need to turn the TV off. We need to shut it down. We need to get in the presence of God. We need to stop feeding ourselves all of this confusion, all of these, um, These ill-equipped and all of these lies and all of these things that are manipulating and twisting the minds of the people, rather they're saved or unsaved. We need to turn the TVs off because this is the hour for truth. that we cannot panic. God is looking for the church to set the tone for the world. God is looking for the church to rise up in this hour, in this season and speak truth, to speak it in love, but to speak it in boldness like John the Baptist and crying. When John the Baptist was there, he was crying out in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord for repentance. And let me tell you all, the world needs to repent and we need to do it swiftly. There is only one God, one heaven and one hell. We cannot be panicked. Panic is a reaction, but planting is a position. Somebody need to catch that.

SPEAKER_01:

That's

SPEAKER_02:

good. That's good. So panic is just a reaction. It's our feelings. It's our flesh. That's trying to get us to a place of worry of place of stress. But then the word of God tells us, but when you are planted in me, You are stable because you are positioned You have a posture. You have a stance that tells the enemy, don't try me because I'm not going down. Do not come after me because you don't want any of this. Do not try me because I know who I am. I know my rank. I know my authority in the kingdom. And baby, you don't want any of this because I know who my father is. I know my dominion. I know my authority. And I know what he has equipped me with for the nations. And I'm not going to back down. because I'm after every soul. This is me and Apostle Herbie talking. We are after every soul that has been lost, that has not heard the gospel, that needs to know who Jesus Christ is. People are dying in the church, outside of the church, and they have not even heard the gospel, nor have they accepted the Lord as Lord and Savior of their lives. We've messed up, people of God, and it's time to get planted. To get serious about God. It's not about a fashion show. It's not about a revival that we just put on because we want to raise money. It's not about trying to network. It's not about any of these crazy things. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. I sow$100 when I come to your church. You sow$100 when we come to your church. It's not about any of that. It's about the souls that God is holding us accountable for. Are we living what we preach? So what does it mean to be planted? Apostle, I'll turn it over to you.

SPEAKER_00:

In Psalm chapter 1 and verse 3 and Jeremiah chapter 17, verse 7 and 8, they're talking about breaking it down. What it means by that, breaking down the word of God. You know what I'm saying? If you're breaking down in a way that we all can understand. Being planted means consistency in time with God. Resilience can trial. And confidence in God means not outcome so

SPEAKER_02:

when he's talking about consistency thinking about think about this let me jump on there one minute apostle i'm gonna

SPEAKER_01:

turn it back to you

SPEAKER_02:

when we are to being planted in god like apostle said it is consistency in time with god it means i am constantly giving God time. I'm constantly planning my day around the Lord. I'm constantly at his feet. I'm constantly crying out to him. I'm constantly seeking his face. According to Matthew 6 and 33, that says, seek ye first the kingdom of God and all of his righteousness, and then these things shall be added unto you. So it means a perpetual consistent flow of me always continually going to God, seeking out God, spending time with God in his presence, How to stay rooted? Yeah, a tree.

SPEAKER_00:

practical habits for rooted living. The Daily Word Times, not performance-based, but soul-based. Number two is worship and rest. Protect your peace. And three is community check-in. Stay connected to others. Planted Listen,

SPEAKER_02:

the word of God tells us that a seed produces after its own kind. So we want to challenge each and every one of you today. What is it that you see in your spiritual leader? What is it that you see in other men and women of God and those that you know that are planted and rooted and living what they preach according to the word of God? What is it that you see on them that you desire for yourself? What is it about them? Are they truly walking and following after the leading and the guidance of the Lord? What is it? Just think about that when you're going through the three habits that Apostle Herbie has talked to you about here on today.

SPEAKER_00:

Invite listeners to reflect on their panic triggers versus a root system. Encourage them to create a spiritual root checklist. And T's episode, faith over feeling.

SPEAKER_02:

Yes. So the last one that Apostle's saying here, tease them when you've done this. On the second episode that comes out next month, episode two is faith over feelings. So we want to challenge you. We want to challenge each and every one of you to do that. Think about and reflect on, like he said, the panic triggers versus the root system. Create a spiritual root checklist and then tease the people. that you share this podcast with, that you encourage to just take out the time and listen and tell the people, hey, guess what? Hey, Apostle Herbert and Apostle Rosemary, they're doing a series for season five. And what they're doing for season five, whole season five is going to be on the theme is Unshaken, how to stand strong in a shaky world and introduce them to this podcast. It is global. We are reaching so many people for the kingdom and we thank God because it has nothing to do with us, but it has all to do with him. We are only servants and vessels that have just been yielded. And out of obedience, we've yielded ourselves to the hand of the almighty to allow him to use us to bring glory to his name. It's not about us. It's all about him. So when we talk about this, just to recap with you guys on this series, planted, not panicked. When we're planted, people of God, we don't have to panic about what's going on around us. When we are planted, we know God is in control. When we're planted, we're like the Israelite children over in Egypt. That were in slavery and bondage for 400 years. But when God had had enough and he'd seen the cry outcry and he's heard all the prayers for those 400 years, he showed up and even Pharaoh had to recognize that God be God. That I am is who I said had sent Moses and who I am was I am. He is the God of all. He is the creator of everything. So when we think about this, we pray that from the theme on today, that you take the main thing that you take with you from this podcast is learning to live, that you learn to live deeply rooted in God instead of reacting to everything around us. Now we have some scriptures here. Of course, the scriptures for today was Psalms 1 verse 3. Jeremiah 17, verse 7 through 8. And the takeaway, panic is emotional, but planting is intentional. That's good right there. Panic is emotional, but planting is intentional. And the three building habits that Apostle Herbie read to you were, go ahead, honey.

SPEAKER_00:

Stay in the wood consistently. Protect your peace with worship and rest. Stay connected to faith communities.

SPEAKER_02:

This is not the time to sit home. This is not the time to say, I've been hurt. I can't do it. I've been wounded. This is a time to connect to people that are planted, that are grounded, that are rooted in the word of God. That's able to see you who God has called you to be in the kingdom. That's able to co-labor with you. That's able to push you. That's able to pour into you. That's able to speak into your life and over your life. This is where we are. So some questions to reflect upon men and women of God. Where have I been reacting in panic instead of responding in faith? What rhythms in my life are helping or hurting me in my spiritual root system? So we're going to close it with four questions. And the question number one would be, why do believers panic if they know God is in control? Panic often comes from a place, misplaced trust when we've subconsciously put our confidence and outcomes routinely in people and routines or outcomes and routines or people. Faith reminds us that even when we don't understand, we can trust God's character. The second question we want to leave with you is what does planted really mean spiritually? The answer to that, people of God, is to be planted is to be positioned and nourished by God. It's not only being perfect, but about being connected to the source, the true vine. Just like a tree needs time, sun, and water, we need the word, we need worship, and we need prayer. The third time, the third question.

SPEAKER_00:

Can I be planted and still feel fear sometimes? Absolutely. Being planted doesn't mean you never feel fear. It means you don't live from it. Fear may knock, but faith keep the door shut. My God. How do you, how do I know... fourth question sorry how do i know if i am living rooted or or reacting in panic ask yourself if my first response pray or panic that's a that's a hard check rooted living it starts with seeking god before seeking answers elsewhere

SPEAKER_02:

so in other words look within do a self-examination ask yourself these questions and then reflect back on this podcast today reflect back on what apostle herbie and i have brought to you today on let's talk about it podcast that are that panic is emotional but planting is intentional that's powerful my lord so today's episode was titled planted not panicked our next episode episode two in series and um series five episode two will be faith over feelings my lord So remember that season five is going to be full of encouragement as always, but we're going to be dealing with our series on the theme. The main theme for season five is going to flow every episode with unshaken, how to stand strong in a world that's so shaky, in a shaky world, in a world that's so divided. And so we want to thank you all today for joining us here this morning on Let's Talk About It podcast.
