• Investing your money and getting it to work for you is the key to getting out of the rat race. Develop the ability to detach yourself from income-earning to the time that you’re spending and you’ll see many money-making opportunities coming your way.
• Doug started real estate investing as a side hustle and quit his job 2 years ago when his flip income replaced his job income.
• If you want something bad enough and you think it’s impossible because of your young age and lack of requirements, don’t take no for an answer and you have to be creative about how you’re going to get it.
• Doug’s piece of advice - check in with your ego and learn from the people who are more successful than you. Be open to learning from people who are qualified to give you advice and be a positive influence on your life.
