The Flo Town Kicks 2013 Team 1 ended their spring 2022 season by making it to the semi-final game at the United for Hope 2022 Soccer Tournament in San Antonio. The team of first-, second, and third-graders, all students at Floresville South Elementary School, took the field May 7-8, beating Surf Stone Oak 2-1. They then tied Surf Edgar 2-2, winning the group stage by accumulating the most points in the standings.
