[Video below] FLORESVILLE — “I’m requesting my evaluation be done as a public hearing,” Floresville Interim City Manager Monica Veliz told the Floresville City Council Nov. 13. After 11 months in the position, a review of Veliz’s duties and performance was scheduled for an executive session, along with City Attorney Daniel Santee, who later told the council he put his own name on the agenda. “Requesting my item as a public hearing allows the opportunity for the public to give comment as well,” Veliz said.
