The city of Floresville advised people in the downtown area Thursday of a damaged gas pipeline at the corner of Fourth and A streets. With the smell of gas hanging heavy in the air, a work crew was still digging under the pavement at 1 p.m. to access the pipeline. A contractor for CenterPoint Energy rushed a crew to the site after the leak was reported earlier this morning. Read more in the Dec. 10 edition of the Wilson County News.
