Hornet Debaters continue to make history

On Feb. 10, at the UIL District 27 Cross Examination Debate Meet, the East Central Hornet Debaters swept the top awards, securing two team spots at the UIL State Cross Examination Tournament in March. This is the third consecutive year that senior debaters Breanna Jimenez and Skylee McKenzie have qualified for State, and the first trip for sophomores Ryland Casanova and Juliette Sandoval.
