Floresville terminates Andy Joslin as city manager

Andy Joslin is no longer the Floresville city manager.  His employment was terminated at the Dec. 12 Floresville City Council meeting. His termination followed council evaluation of his employment, which was listed for executive session; however, Joslin requested it to be held in open meeting.  Councilman Beatrice Ximenez-Marroquin stated that she requested the discussion to address below-average scores on Joslin’s prior city manager evaluation.  Additionally, accusations were made regarding Joslin’s spending of city funds on “elaborate employee parties” and events.
