JV Bears wrestling marks highest finish for JV program
The La Vernia junior varsity Bears wrestling team finished second at the District tournament Jan. 25, marking the highest finish yet for the junior varsity wrestling program. AJ Ovalle placed second, John Gawlik finished third, and Tristan Soriano finished third. Throughout the season these boys brought home fifteen individual medals while competing primarily against 5A and 6A schools. The future is bright for our Wrestling Bears. Congratulations!
