ESD 5 calls for election in May on sales-and-use tax

Wilson County Emergency Services District 5 (ESD 5) is ready to try again to increase its revenue through a 1-1/2 percent sales-and-use tax. The ESD 5 board of commissioners voted at a special Jan. 27 meeting to approve a resolution calling for a sales-and-use tax election on May 3.
