Lack of decorum and leadership

Editor: Re: Shorts and stops: Changes, First Lady, executive orders, Jan. 29 You are correct in your last sentence. Mariann Budde’s comments were and remain an insult to America. She had such a great opportunity but rather chose to pander to her “tribe.” It’s remarkable that Ms. Budde oversees 86 churches across Washington D.C. yet lacks the capacity for decorum and leadership in such a public setting as the inaugural service. Makes me wonder what she says when there are no cameras trained on her. Ms. Budde would make a better poster child for why America voted for a change....
