2024 -- a year of farewells for Wilson County

The death of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter on Dec. 29 brought 2024 to a close on a somber note. While his death brought the nation to mourning, the passing of a number of Wilson County residents in 2024 also brought public expressions of sorrow.
