Wilson County unemployment rate decreases to 3.0 percent
Workforce Solutions Alamo reports the December 2024 unadjusted unemployment rate for Wilson County is 3.0 percent, decreasing from 3.5 percent in November 2024. Wilson County’s December rate is lower than the 3.4 percent unemployment rate for the 13-county Workforce Development Area, including Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, McMullen, Medina, and Wilson counties, and lower than the 3.7 percent unemployment rate for the state of Texas.
