Tigers golf team takes third in home tournament

The Floresville boys golf team hosted the Floresville Golf Invitational Feb. 4 and placed third. “I am really proud of the way we competed at our tournament. We are trying to build a ‘team first’ culture, and I am seeing a lot of improvements in that area of our program. I saw a lot of improvement with some scores from last week to this week, which tells me we are working on parts of our game that need work. For some of the players it was their first tournament and I thought they competed well,” shared Head Coach Jeff Terry.
