East Central swimmers excel at District meet
The East Central High School swim team delivered an outstanding performance at the Jan. 31 District 27-6A meet! Congratulations to Harmonee Freelon, who was named District 27-6A Swimmer of the Meet for the second consecutive year! Individual Regional Qualifiers include: •Harmonee Freelon — first place, 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle, and set a new school record •Gabby Ruiz — third place, in 100m butterfly and 200m freestyle •Alondra Evans- Villanueva — second place, 1m diving •Gavin Posada — sixth place, 100m butterfly •Girls 200m freestyle relay — second place, with a new school record; team members are Harmonee Freelon, Gabby...
