We appreciate the La Vernia News

Editor: I’m sure someone has researched and documented the lingering effects of school rivalry between communities for generations, even after they’ve become an Independent School District. With this in mind, I wonder about the lingering effects of community newspapers. It’s been apparent to me and my household that no other publication zeroed in on La Vernia and its schools like the La Vernia News. I’m sure those who have children or grandchildren in La Vernia Independent School District would agree as they try to keep up with school activities. Debie Grimm and I moved here in 2015, not knowing anyone....
