Wilson County Historical Society honors Henke with award
The Wilson County Historical Society at its Feb. 6 fundraiser — the Floresville Opry — recognizes Viola Henke for “her leadership and dedication to creating and maintaining the event over the past 14 years. Her efforts developed a community of country music enthusiasts and lifetime friendships. Without her tireless leadership and encouragement, the Wilson County Jailhouse Museum restorations wouldn’t have been completed to give Wilson County a treasure to be shared with the public.”
