COURT UPDATE

The following defendants were among those listed on recent dockets for the 81st District Court in Wilson County: •Eliannah Zavala, 21, of Floresville pleaded nolo contendere (no contest) Feb. 10 to aggravated assault causing severe bodily injury for an incident on Feb. 24, 2021, in which she allegedly burned an individual with hot liquid. Zavala was sentenced to five years of deferred adjudication community supervision. •Adam Broadhead, 35, of Nixon pleaded nolo contendere (no contest) to a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for an incident on March 6, 2022.
