DRT Joshua Brown Chapter to host 'Old 300' descendant

The Joshua D. Brown Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT) will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, Feb. 24, at 10 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church, 321 Thompson Drive in Kerrville. The speaker for the meeting will be Ben Friberg. Friberg is a seventh-generation Texan. His family arrived with the Old 300 and stayed for the next 200 years.
