Winter weather cancels events, opens warming centers

With the extreme cold weather continuing into the weekend and the chances of freezing precipitation in the forecast for Friday into Saturday, Wilson County officials have again made warming centers available to members of the public. The weather also has prompted some cancellations, including many school sporting events.
