Mustang powerlifting wins fifth meet in a row to end regular season

The Nixon-Smiley Mustang powerlifting team traveled to Victoria Feb. 22 to compete in the Iron Titan Last Boys Qualifier at Victoria East High School. There were 15 schools in attendance including Victoria West, Beeville Jones, Rockport Fulton, Goliad, Robstown, Bay City, Victoria East, Hallettsville, Calhoun, Altair Rice, Cuero, Bloomington, Woodsboro, Ganado, and Yoakum.
