Shed, grass fires keep District 1 crews busy

A heat lamp and a discarded cigarette may be the causes of two fires Feb. 20 in eastern Wilson County. District 1 Fire & Rescue crews responded last Thursday to reports of smoke in the vicinity of the 500 block of S.H. 123 S. in Stockdale. Firefighters with Engine 13 and Brush 13 arrived at 12:40 p.m. and found a storage shed on fire, located in the backyard of a residence.
