Floresville convention, tourist board approves Peanut Festival funds

The Floresville Convention, Tourist & Visitors Advisory Board met recently for the first time in more than two and a half years. During their Feb. 18 meeting — originally set for Jan. 16, then moved to Feb. 6, but canceled due to lack of a quorum — Brenda Treviño and Courtney Treviño, who were appointed to the board June 13, 2024, were elected as chair and secretary, respectively.
