Red Flag Warning: No outdoor burning Tuesday, Wednesday
No burning is allowed in Wilson County on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 4-5. Wilson County asks that folks avoid any outdoor burning, including of brush or trash, or any outdoor activities that could inadvertently cause wildfires, due to very high to extreme fire danger. High winds, low humidity, and drought-stricken soils have prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Red Flag Warning for the majority of South-Central Texas, including Wilson County, from through 9 p.m., Tuesday, March 4.
