Pirates complete season as Regional Semifinal Champions

The Poth High School Pirate basketball team completed a stellar season, maintaining a winning season with Championships for District, Bi-District, Area, and Regional Semifinals. On Friday, Feb. 28, however, their season came to an end with what was a very close game against the Cole Cougars during the Regional Finals tournament in San Antonio. The Pirates ultimately fell, 44-47, losing their bid for State. The Pirates complete the season with a 9-1 record.
