Lady Mustangs compete in Seguin tournament

The Nixon-Smiley Lady Mustang softball team traveled down the road to compete in the Seguin Tournament Feb. 27-March 1. Nixon-Smiley beat Randolph and Robstown, but lost to Laredo Unity South, Jefferson, Devine, and San Diego. The Lady Mustangs are learning to work together as a team and have had great takeaways from this tournament. The Lady Mustangs took to the road again on March 4, to challenge La Grange, and will then travel on Friday, March 7, to La Vernia to take on the Lady Bears at 7 p.m. wcnsports@wcn-online.com
