East Central TAFE students advance to National conference

East Central High School Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) traveled to Galveston in February to compete at the Teach for Tomorrow Summit. The group included advisors Marielouise Koezler and Karen Viator, and 22 future educators with 10 advancing to the June National Educators Rising Conference in Orlando, Fla. Students who competed at the State level were Alexa Cardenas, Arebelle Cool, Kianna Diaz, Camila Lopez, Bristol Porter, Liliana Salinas, Emmanuel Stephens, Anaia Rivas, Itzayana Tiscareno, and Jose Velaquez.
