Motorcycle, pickup truck crash proves fatal
A Stockdale man is dead, following a crash Feb. 27 east of Floresville. According to the preliminary report by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Highway Patrol, a 2019 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling west on S.H. 97 around 6:30 a.m. last Thursday, when it was struck by a white Ford F-250 pickup truck traveling east on S.H. 97, which turned left onto F.M. 539, in front of the motorcycle. Personnel from the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, Wilson County District 5 Fire & Rescue, District 4 EMS, and DPS responded.
