UTSA's New Music Festival will spotlight Daniel Rios
Plan now to catch Floresville’s Daniel Rios in the New Music Festival — NuMu — at the University of Texas at San Antonio this month. NuMu, which celebrates composition and performance, takes place Tuesday through Thursday, March 18-20. Music by Daniel will be featured March 18. Daniel, 20, is a 2022 graduate of Floresville High School. The son of David and Silvia Rios, he’s pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music composition at UTSA, with an anticipated graduation in December 2026. After that, Daniel plans to pursue his master’s degree and work as a composer-in-residence for an orchestra. Music by Daniel,...
