LV police arrest person of interest

La Vernia police have arrested a suspect identified as a person of interest in a recent criminal trespassing incident. Police received a call Jan. 29 at 9 a.m. from a La Vernia business owner reporting suspicious activity caught by a surveillance camera at approximately 2 a.m. that morning. The owner told police that the footage showed a male suspect, who was wearing glasses and carrying a backpack, looking into the windows of his closed dental office, located at the intersection of Juniors Place and F.M. 1346.
