Multiple agencies battle large grass fire near Stockdale

Firefighters from multiple Wilson County agencies are battling a large fire fanned by strong wind on C.R. 401 near F.M. 1922 west/northwest of Stockdale. The Wilson County Office of Emergency Management advises drivers between Stockdale and Floresville to avoid the vicinity of county roads 311 and 312, due to heavy smoke from the blaze impairing visibility.
