Susanna Dickinson Chapter marks Washington's birthday with donation to library
The Susanna Dickinson Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) celebrated George Washington’s birthday by presenting a 0 donation to the Wilson County Public Libraries. The books purchased with the funds will be part of the DAR project, America 250, celebrating the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, July 4, 2026. Funds will be used for books on the Revolution, with special focus on contributions by local Wilson County patriots. The Susanna Dickinson Chapter is based in La Vernia.
