FISD adopts alternating four-, five-day schedule

[Video below] Floresville Independent School District students and teachers will operate under a hybrid schedule for the 2025-26 school year. The new calendar — which the board of trustees adopted in a unanimous vote during the March 3 regular meeting — will provide students and teachers with 18 non-holiday Fridays off from the school week, by alternating between five-day weeks and four-day weeks during specific periods.
