SARA to host hazardous waste collection in Helton Nature Park
The San Antonio River Authority, in partnership with Wilson County and Helton San Antonio River Nature Park, will hold a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday, March 22, from 8 a.m. to noon, at the Wilson County Expo and Community Center at 435 S.H. 97 E. in Floresville. This is an invitation to all Wilson County residential households (not businesses) to get rid of unwanted items. Proof of residency will be required. County residents may stop by to drop off unwanted household hazardous waste, tires, paint, used motor oil and filters, cleaning products, pesticides, computers, small electronics, pharmaceuticals, and...
