Floresville barber shooting: Man charged with murder

Bexar County Sheriff’s Office deputies have charged a man with the March 7 shooting of Floresville barber Octavian “Tave” Estrada. Estrada was shot and killed March 7 at the Valero gas station on U.S. 181 near Loop 1604 in Elmendorf, following what investigators deemed a road-rage incident. Sean Anthony Samaniego, 34, originally was arrested March 8 and charged with tampering with evidence, after the truck identified at the scene of the shooting was found.
