Ploch receives Floresville ISD's character award

Floresville Early Childhood Center behavior specialist Carrie Ploch (center) receives the Community of Character Award from the Floresville Independent School District (ISD) trustees (back), Superintendent Jason Gilstrap (l), and center Principal Diana Wagner during the March 3 school board meeting. Ploch received the award in recognition of her dedication to the families of Floresville ISD. During Christmastime, she and her husband purchased, delivered, and set up a new bed and mattress for a child in need, complete with bed sheets and comforter featuring the child’s favorite characters.
