Ken Scheffler retires, closes Ken's Farm Parts

Longtime Poth businessman Ken Scheffler receives a resounding sendoff March 3, as members of the Poth community, business owners, and city officials gather at Felux Metal Works & Supply to wish him well in retirement. Scheffler, owner and operator of Ken’s Farm Parts on N. Storts Street (U.S. 181), sold his inventory to Gary Felux and closed up shop Feb. 28 after more than 40 years in business. He’ll still buy and sell equipment, but no longer on a daily basis. Look for his story in a coming issue of the Wilson County News!
