Tigers set PRs at State powerlifting meet in Abilene

Floresville Tiger powerlifting competed at the THSPA 4A State Meet March 21 in Abilene. Senior Lee Cruz competed in the 123- lb. weight class, lifting a 365-lb. PR on squat, 255 lbs. on bench, and a 365-lb. PR on deadlift, locking in 12th place in Texas. As Cruz prepares to graduate and move on, he has many opportunities to continue lifting in college. “We will miss him but know he will continue to raise the bar wherever he goes,” shared his coaches.
