Area basketball athletes shine in SA Sports All-Star games

Athletes representing five area high schools got the chance to showcase their basketball skills once again March 23 in the second annual San Antonio Sports All-Star Basketball Games, presented by Valero. Seven athletes from schools in the Wilson County News coverage area — including La Vernia, Nixon-Smiley, Poth, and Stockdale — competed in the 1A-5A games in the Northside Gym in San Antonio, along with a skills contest.
