Plan to attend Floresville ISD 'combating hate' presentation

Parents and families are invited to attend a presentation to learn about combating hate and violence, on Wednesday, March 26, at the Floresville Middle School cafeteria, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The presentation — Understanding and Preventing Youth Radicalization — will be led by expert instructors Larry Rodriguez from the San Antonio Office of Emergency Management, and an individual from the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. Session topics include domestic terrorism, radicalization through online gaming, vulnerability factors and grooming, and resources to keep adolescents safe.
