Have an old U.S. flag to retire?

American Legion Post 38 First Vice Commander Mike Monreal (l-r), Commander Derek Gaudlitz, Second Vice Commander Brian Niday, and Chaplain James Duke position a drop box for retired U.S. flags on the front porch of the Post 38 Hall at 1412 Fourth St. in downtown Floresville. Anyone with a U.S. flag that is worn, tattered, or damaged beyond repair may place it in the drop box; flags collected will be respectfully disposed of by the Boy Scout troop sponsored by Post 38. Eagle Ford Signs provided the patriotic wrapping for the box.
