County: Heritage Woods won't be a 'trailer park'

Plans for a subdivision southwest of La Vernia have changed, but they aren’t illegal, according to Wilson County officials. Wild Springs Investments, developers of the Heritage Woods subdivision on C.R. 321, originally envisioned building a new home on each of 75 1-acre lots. According to county Permit/ Development Director Luz Serrato, the developers applied to the county in September 2023 for the requisite floodplain, septic, and driveway permits for the subdivision, which were granted.
