Shooting leaves one man dead in Floresville

The Floresville Police Department has confirmed a homicide in the city overnight. According to police Chief Anthony Flores, an incident occurred about 1 a.m. this morning at Standish Street (S.H. 97) and Haddox Alley. Police confirm a man in his late 30s is dead from a gunshot wound.  The investigation is ongoing, Flores said.
